As a man was walking along a path he came upon something that to him looked like an apple.
He put his foot on it to squash it but as soon as he did that it grew to twice the size. He stamped on it harder and it grew twice as big again. He beat it with the stick he was carrying and it grew again. Each time he beat it it grew until it quite blocked his path. Just then a little man appeared. “That is enough, brother,” he said. “This thing is the spirit of quarrelling and fighting. If it is left alone it stays as it is, but if you join in the fighting the bigger it grows.”
Moral:- Keep out of other people’s quarrels
